Measured, not promised
About 2,000 hours of office work, done for joinery firms
Every count below is real work recorded in JoineryAI over the 90 days to mid-October 2026, added up across all firms. The minutes are our estimate of the same job done by hand, and we show them so you can check the sum.

tasks JAI ran for teams
How we work it out: each count is work recorded in the app; the minutes per task are our estimate of doing it by hand. No firm is named and nothing here belongs to any one business. Speed figures are medians across 430 enquiries replied to by email.
A day with JAI
From the first email to the final invoice
One system for sales, the workshop and the accounts, with an assistant that does the typing. JAI drafts, your team decides. Nothing goes to a customer until someone presses send.
- 7:30
The inbox is already sorted
Gmail, Microsoft 365 or any IMAP mailbox. JAI reads every email overnight.
- Junk and updates filed; anything that needs you becomes a short question with the answer drafted
- New enquiries logged as leads, matched to the client and job you already have
- Tender packs behind a Dropbox link fetched onto the lead
- Every email accounted for, and one tap brings back anything filed wrongly
- 9:00
Quotes built from what the customer sent
Drop in a door schedule, a drawing, a supplier PDF or a photo.
- Fire-door schedules read in line by line, priced from your own rates
- Your own costing workbook filled in, formulas and macros left intact
- Windows, doors and kitchens priced to size from your catalogue
- Lines sent to your suppliers for price, and their replies applied with your markup
- 11:00

- See when the client opens the quote
- Quiet quotes chased on the schedule you set
- New enquiries offered times for a call, and the one they pick is booked
- Teams calls transcribed, with the notes filed on the job
- 13:00
Won jobs land in the workshop
The order confirmation is signed, then one press sends it to production.
- The job planned at the hours you priced it at, stage by stage
- Cutting lists and build sheets from the quote
- Tablets on the floor: timers, stage updates and Ask JAI for the bench
- Quoted hours against capacity, so you know if the shop will be busy next month
- 15:00
Bought in, booked out, delivered
Purchasing, stock and delivery in the same place as the job.
- Supplier invoices read and matched to the PO, with price changes offered for you to accept
- Stock counted by delivery and used oldest first
- Van runs planned on a map, with a driver app and a live tracker for the customer
- Courier labels booked and printed in the app
- 17:00
Know where the money is
Ask JAI for the figure and she builds the board.
- Dashboards and reports built by describing them, and every figure opens the records behind it
- Connects to Xero, Sage and FreeAgent; cost against quote on every job
- Month-end WIP valued for you, and a cash-flow forecast only the people you choose can see
- Away? Holiday mode minds the business and asks you once a day

Switching is our job
Quoting from JoineryAI in about 10 days
That's the median time from signing up to sending a first quote across the 18 firms that joined since June. You don't spend weeks typing in a price list: we set it up from the work you've already done.
We build your catalogue from quotes you've already sent
Connect your mailbox or drop in a folder. We read your recent quotes, set up your products, options and prices, and prove it by rebuilding your own quotes to the penny. Anything unclear comes back as a short list of questions.
A setup call with a person
Book a call when you sign up. We connect your inbox and accounts, bring your team on and get your first quote out with you.
Your prices never move unless you ask
Once a product is set up the way you build it, nothing changes it without your say-so. Not a template, not an update from us. You can keep quoting at your own figures with ours shown beside them.
Start small, switch on more as you go
Begin with the inbox and quoting. Turn on the workshop, purchasing or deliveries when you're ready. Every module is included in the one price.
The Joinery Network · Lignum
A range to sell, and the compliance to back it
JoineryAI is the system The Joinery Network runs on. Members get the TJN door range, the Lignum windows and doors and the Lignum Compliance System already in the app, so you can quote, make and certify a range on day one instead of building one.
The Joinery Network range, inside your quotes
Members price TJN's doors in their own app at their own trade price, add their markup, and the order goes straight to The Joinery Network.
- Send your client a link to pick or design their door from photo renders, with no prices and no supplier name on the page
- Their choice lands on the enquiry, ready to quote
- Regalead glass and PassivGlas vacuum glazing ordered through TJN on the same quote
The Lignum range, ready to make
Casement windows, box sash windows and doors, arched heads included, set up as parametric products that price and draw themselves at any size.
- Sections taken from the Lignum data sheet and from real Lignum jobs makers have cut and sold
- Priced from your own timber, glass, ironmongery and labour rates
- Added as your own copy: change anything, and nothing we update ever moves your price
Compliance done as you go
The Lignum Compliance System is built in, so the paperwork is made from the job rather than after it.
- Declaration of Performance (DoP) for each product, with the registers the scheme asks for
- U-values quoted only where a certificate backs them
- Annual compliance MOT: audit, any training needed, sign-off and a 12-month certificate
A label that proves it
Every product label carries a QR code. Scan it on site and the public Declaration of Performance opens, so the building inspector, the main contractor and the homeowner can all see what was made and to what standard.
Already a Joinery Network member? Start your trial and tell us on the setup call: we link your account to TJN and add the Lignum range for you.
Your catalogue, your prices
Build anything. Priced your way.
JoineryAI learns your products from your own cutlists and pricing, then makes them parametric. Resize a door, change the glass, add a panel, and the cutlist, labour and price update on their own. Then build whatever a customer dreams up, even if it has never been in your catalogue.
Parametric catalogue
Your cutlist and pricing, made parametric
Upload a product's design sheet, cutlist and a quote. JAI rebuilds it as a parametric drawing where every part is a formula, not a fixed number, calibrated to your real materials, labour rate and margin.
- Import once, then any size reprices itself
- Calibrate one variation and JAI prices the whole family
- Your labour rates and markups, not generic defaults
Resize and every part, the labour and the price recompute.
CAD editor
Snap a photo, draw it, get a costed cutlist
Take a photo of a door with a gothic arch (or anything else), open the CAD editor and draw straight over it. JAI turns your drawing into a parts cutlist with labour time and a price, so bespoke one-offs get costed like a catalogue product.
- Trace real shapes over a reference photo
- Parts, materials and labour generated automatically
- A defensible price for work you've never quoted before
SketchUp takeoff
Model it in SketchUp, get a priced job
Already design in 3D? Export your SketchUp model as a COLLADA (.dae) file and drop it in. JAI reads the timber members straight off the model, builds the cutting list and prices the whole job from your costing workbook.
- Quantity takeoff lifted straight from the 3D model
- Tag members in SketchUp and they carry through
- Amend by chatting to JAI and the price updates
Excel costing sheets
Edit your spreadsheet by chatting, like Claude for Excel
Already cost jobs in Excel? Upload the workbook your business trusts and edit it the way you'd ask Claude to: prefill it from the enquiry, add a margin column, write a SUM, insert a sheet. JAI changes values, formulas and structure and keeps every reference intact, then exports the finished .xlsx.
- Prefilled from the job, then edited in plain English
- JAI writes formulas, adds columns and restructures sheets
- Your layout and references stay intact, export to .xlsx
Cabinet Vision integration
Kitchen plans in, Cabinet Vision jobs out
Already run Cabinet Vision? Upload your kitchen floor plan and elevations. JAI reads every cabinet, matches them to your synced Cabinet Vision catalogue, and exports an ORD file that Cabinet Vision prices and builds.
- Every cabinet extracted with dimensions, ready to sense-check
- Matched to your own .pkg catalogue with a confidence score
- Export an ORD, or generate UCS build macros from plain English
12 cabinets matched to your Cabinet Vision catalogue
Built for joinery
Who it's for

Joinery Manufacturers
Cabinet makers, door and window manufacturers, kitchen and component factories, bespoke joinery workshops. Scale from solo to multi-team with real visibility into profitability.
Installers & Fitters
Installation teams running multiple sites. Track projects, assign work, log time and manage subcontractors, so you always know who's where and why.

Multi-Branch Operations
Multiple showrooms, workshops or installation teams. Role-based access means each location sees only their data, owners see everything.
The difference
Not spreadsheets. Not a generic CRM.
Built for joinery, from quote to workshop to profit.
| Feature | Spreadsheets | Generic software | JoineryAI |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quote generation time | 30–60 minutes per quote | Still manual, requires plugins | Drafted from the schedule or PDF; you check and send |
| Lead capture | Manual email forwarding | Basic email sync, manual routing | Every enquiry logged from the inbox, matched to the job |
| Workshop visibility | Email updates, job-board chaos | Not built for production tracking | Real-time board, timers, QR codes |
| Profitability tracking | Spreadsheet math, often wrong | Not a feature | Automatic labour + material costing |
| Custom project specs | Spreadsheet columns | Generic fields, not joinery-specific | Configurators for bespoke joinery |
| Follow-up automation | Impossible | Basic sequences, not AI-driven | JAI schedules adaptive follow-ups |
| AI assistant & meetings | None | Generic bots, siloed meeting tools | JAI for admin + calendar-linked transcripts |
| Invoicing & job margin | Manual invoicing, fragile margin math | Add-ons, not production-aware | Invoices, payments & cost vs quote in one place |
Trust & security
Your business data, protected
Your business data is your business. We protect it like it's ours.
Encrypted, with two-step sign-in
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Turn on authenticator-app codes for one person or require them for the whole team.
Your data stays yours
Your prices, costs and quotes are used only for your account. The AI providers we use don't train on it, and we never do. Export it whenever you like.
You decide who sees what
The owner chooses who sees costs, who sees the accounts and which modules each person uses. The workshop sees the jobs, not the margins.
A person presses send
JAI drafts and asks. Anything that writes a record or goes to a customer waits for someone to confirm it, and every change is logged.

FAQ
Questions joiners ask us
Is the trial really free, with no card?+
Yes. You get every module for 14 days and we don't ask for a card to start. If you want to carry on, you add payment at the end. If you don't, nothing is charged.
What does it cost?+
£450 + VAT a month, which includes your first office user, then £125 a month for each additional office user. It caps at £1,575 a month — office users beyond 10 are free. There are no tiers and nothing is held back: every business gets the whole platform.
How is the time saved worked out?+
We count real work done in the app across all firms (emails sorted, replies drafted, schedules read in, quotes built and so on) and multiply each by an estimate of the minutes the same job takes by hand. The counts and the minutes are both shown on this page so you can check the sum. Your own figure will depend on your volume of enquiries and quotes.
Will JAI send things to my customers without us?+
No. JAI drafts replies, quotes and chasers, and your team checks and sends them. Anything that changes a record or goes to a customer waits for a person to confirm it. You can let her handle the routine things automatically later, one rule at a time, if you choose to.
Do we have to type our whole price list in?+
No. Connect your mailbox or send us a folder of quotes you've already sent, and we set your products, options and prices up from them, then rebuild your own quotes to check they match. If you already price in a spreadsheet, JAI can fill your own workbook in instead.
Will my prices change when you update the software?+
No. Once a product is set up the way you build it, nothing changes it unless you ask. Improvements arrive as an offer you can take or leave.
Do my workshop team count as users?+
No. Workshop, installer and driver accounts are free and unlimited, and are never counted towards your office users. Only people using the full web app — owners, estimators, office and admin staff — are billable.
What does it connect to?+
Gmail, Microsoft 365 and any IMAP mailbox; Xero, Sage and FreeAgent for the accounts; Microsoft Teams for call transcripts; SharePoint; Magento web shops; Stripe and Mollie for payments; and your own website for enquiry forms and live chat.
Who owns our data?+
You do. Your customer, quote, meeting and production data is used only for your account, the AI providers we use do not train on it, and you can export it at any time.
Is support included?+
Yes. A setup call when you join, then support by email, phone and in the app on weekdays. Ask for something the app doesn't do yet and you'll get a reply, often with it built.
How do cancellations work?+
Cancel from billing settings at any time. Your workspace stays active until the end of the paid month, with full export access.
